Opened in 1912 and closed in 1966 was now an abandoned zoo in Griffiths Park, LA. We got to experience what it was like being on the other side of the cages. We have just walked / climbed the Wrekin in Telford, Shropshire. It involved taking an off route path that led us up dark/misty forests where rain and slippery dirt were against us. We witnessed Yeti Footprints, a heard of sheep that herded themselves and a rope swing that smelt of poo. To read more [click here].
Experienced the beauties of the Colosseum, saw the great pictures of Michelangelo and Raphael in the Sistine Chapel, attended mass in the Vatican City church, got amazed by the water at the Trevi Fountains and felt more knowledgeable after a ride on the 5D back in time machine. Had my first 10 Euro Ice-cream and got to see the famous face made out of stone that’s supposed to bite ya hand off. [read more]
Froze my ass off at the top of St Peters church whilst admiring the view, drank the local dirty shot in Kiwi bar, saw the sights from the top of the Skyline bar, had a race through the streets on a 3 person bike, drank 5 bottles of cheap champagne in a limo, attended an IT conference although not meaning too and chilling out on our roof terrace [read more].

It was my 30th Birthday and I was fortunate to have 2 different parties. This party featured the Wolves lot going down to Stroud where we would go back in time to the 50s. There were frilly dresses, Quiffs, Toothpicks, leather jackets, Shades and curly hair everywhere. The night involved beating up the 50s geeks, having blow up guitar competitions and tasting one hell of a DIRTY ASS PINT. To read about it [click here]
It was my 30th Birthday and I was fortunate to have 2 different parties. This first party saw some of the Stroudens coming up this end. I was forced to wear Hawaiian props, I enjoyed 2 amazing cakes including a route 66 one and pair of old shoes. We ate amazing food, danced to Hey Jude and Rock N roll. This place is precious to me as I first met my girlfriend in Gogherty’s dressed as the Grim Reaper, witnessed the craziness of Halloween celebrations, had a Guinness painted on my face for Arthur’s Day, drank Guinness in the Guinness Factory, became a viking and Roared at people in a Viking Tank, snuck Kalpaki lager into the hostel, saw amazing Irish bands and found GOGHERTYS!!! Bratislava – Ate sausages with Chicks printed on them, witnessed the local mafia and their cars, drank 1 euro beer that gave us all the shites all holiday, saw locals dirnk vodka at breakfast, witnessed how they don’t have locks on their doors in pubs and managed to find the “man in the hole” statue. Benidorm – Appeared on the famous “Benidorm” show as an extra, ate fry-ups at 3pm, went drinking with the cast and crew of the Benidorm show, Saw the man who rides a very tall bike, witnessed my Dad have a panic attack in a submarine and sang karaoke. Saw the famous Sticky Vicky reveal items from her “secret hiding place” and drank 1 euro a pint Fosters. Read all about it here..
We drank beers in a cemetery bar with skeletons. We ate waffles with icecream and chocolate sauce. We drank beer in a place with over 2000 beers. Witnessed statues with Traffic cones on their heads and a car with street signs impaled in it. Topped off with a trip to some silver balls sculpture. [Read More]
So Me n Bec decided to go on a camping trip abroad to the famous Oktoberfest. We travelled with a company named “Festival Adventures”. We took a couch out of the UK to Germany (ferry of course). This was our 2nd time up Mount Snowdon, only this time we had heat against us! We camped and treked up 2 harder routes. There were back breaking, water guzzling, bear watching and many out of breath moments. It was the 75th ANNIVERSARY of the Cosford RAF airshow. This was going to be cool! Gates opened at 8:30am. We already pre ordered our tickets for £20 online so figured we could set out later – boy were we wrong! The motorway was held up bumper to bumper with people.
