I am an experienced writer, who has been writing since my early middle school years. I have written creative stories, factual articles, and poems, both for recreation and publication. I can edit and critique a variety of writing efficiently, and accurately. If needed, I can rewrite or offer revisions as needed, to make your work look polished and professional. After sending me your poem, I will carefully read it over, and give you constructive feedback regarding it — what is working and what perhaps is not.  I will... find places for more precise and surprising imagery. look over the flow of the piece. check for possible adjustments to word choice or comparisons. edit syntax and compress language.analyze the ability of the form to embody content (standard package).proofread for suggested edits regarding grammar and punctuation (premium package).write detailed comments regarding your poem. My goal is never to criticize someone's writing, but instead help facilitate growth and get him/her/them excited to edit, rework, and keep writing. READ: I make edits via tracking on Microsoft Word. I'll edit the number of words in the gig.   The medium is and always has been the message, and with poetry, the medium is whatever you like.  What I'll be looking for when I'm reading and editing your poem can be summed up very easily:1. Patterns: are they purposeful and do they create the effect you intend?2. Form: is the form it's written in accurate for lyrical or innovative for contemporary?3. Imagery: is it detailed enough to be vivid and include all senses while precise enough to not be drawn-out?4. Rhyme: if it rhymes, is it subtle while enhancing the flow?5. Words: are the words deliberate and unpredictable6. Literary devices, are they used appropriately and do they convey the point you're trying to make?
