If you're new to Garageband, don't worry - this guide will have you mastering tracks like a pro in no time! The first thing you need to do is load up the track you want to master. Once it's loaded, you'll see a few different options at the top of the screen. The first option is "Effects." This is where you can add things like EQ and compression to your track. EQ is used to adjust the frequencies of your track, and compression is used to even out the levels of your track. After you've added any effects you want to your track, it's time to export it. To do this, click on the "Share" button at the top of the screen. From here, you can choose to export your track as an MP3 or WAV file. If you're exporting as an MP3, you can choose the bitrate and quality of the file. For most purposes, 128 kbps is fine. If you're exporting as a WAV file, you can choose the sample rate and bit depth. For most purposes, 48 kHz and 24-bit is fine. Once you've exported your track, it's time to listen to it! Put on some headphones and see how it sounds. If you're happy with the way it sounds, congratulations - you've just mastered a track in Garageband!
