Madeira – Things To Do

There are like a million things to do. We love our camping and outdoorsy stuff so we did alot to cater for that. The trips were awesome. Its hard to say what was my favorite however the Pirate ship was pretty awesome, ahoy their matey! Here’s the list of cool things we did there:

Botanical Gardens

This place is beautiful! The great thing about this garden is that is features several different types of gardens ( Thai, Chinese etc). Swans, waterfalls and even bells in a cave are some of things you can expect to see here ( read more)

Cable Cars From Monte

Levada 25 Fontes Walk

Beautiful scenery from above, plenty of waterfalls, birds that eat out of your hand and Mr Bean as our tour guide ( read more)

Santa Maria Pirate Ship

Stepping onto a Christopher Columbus replica pirate like ship was friggin awesome. Setting sail onto the oceans around the coast. Canons, sleeping quarters and even a real life parrot on board are some of the awesome things on this ship ( read more)

Cabo Girao

Standing on the 2nd highest cliff edge in Europe on a bridge that’s made of glass plays tricks with ya mind! Been on glass bottom bridges before, but never partly over an ocean! ( read more)

Nuns Valley + Pico Do Arieiro
