It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary Smith. Mary passed away peacefully on March 3, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a kind and compassionate woman who always put the needs of others before her own. She was an amazing cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
