Family tree research is a passion project of mine so ideally initial contact via emails or Zooms to gather all the information you know of the person or Scottish family you need traced for your family tree. After that, all research discovered will be added to a family tree on Ancestry.com for you to add to your own tree or I am happy to write it as a report for those not using Ancestry.com Information of birth, marriage and death certificates available will be noted for you but unless further payment agreed on, will be left for you to purchase usually via ScotlandsPeople webpage.

Do you wonder about your family history? Where were your ancestors from? Where did they live, what did they do? Well this is the gig for you. I myself have been researching family trees for years and like to share that with others. My own research has uncovered individuals and stories I could not have imagined. Included in each gig:I will use a well known online platform to create your very own family tree from the details you already know about your family history.The tree will be provided in a document or .ged file that can easily be imported to family tree software or online.For the basic gig, I will create the tree, but if I find any nuggets along the way, I'll be happy to add them in for you. If you want to know more, I offer other more advanced gigs where I will actively research your family using the online tools available. In general I will aim to research your blood line but if there are any specifics you are interested in, please let me know. Additional extras are also available if you want to dig that bit deeper. I enjoy doing this so I'm happy to accept revisions or questions along the way. I hope we can find out some history together!

About This GigIf you choose to have me carry out some research on your behalf, I will first ask you to share the information you know so far - names, locations and any dates etc.  Before beginning research I will provide some honest feedback on how feasible I believe it is that I will be able to research your family history accurately. Only if I think I can find something will I begin charged research.  My research will focus on Ancestry materials but also other web based resources and where necessary contacting third parties or potential relatives. I have listed three packages through fiverr but i am happy to do custom packages also.  My service will include a written report on my research, a GEDCOM file (a downloadable family tree document which can be uploaded for free to Ancestry or other family history sites) and some information about each new relative i find.
