Logline vs tagline services

Your logline (along with your synopsis) is one of your most effective tools when shopping your script to producers and potential investors. It is the first thing these important players in the film industry will read after you approach them with your script. I have over a decade of experience in screenwriting and filmmaking and understand what makes a great and compelling logline. Send me your one page treatment or synopsis and I will create a logline for you! Although loglines may be short, they can also be notoriously difficult to write since they are what can make or break someone's interest in your script. Based on the feedback you provide on the first logline I create for you, I will make the appropriate revisions so it will hopefully be up to your liking. Already love the first logline I created for you? Great, but it's always a smart idea to have some alternative ones up your sleeve. If you don't care about having alternative versions to choose from however, then feel free to send me an entirely different logline and I will try and make it more captivating. Just be sure to add the "Treatment Notes" extra if you'd like me to make my revisions based on any treatment/synopsis you may have. No matter your logline or synopsis needs, I'm here for you!  I offer three different packages for logline and synopses writing, The Editor,  Short Script, and Features. All packages will receive a PDF and Word Doc (docx) file of their finished products. For the basic package, The Editor, I will review, edit, and correct an already written logline and synopsis. My main focus will be helping you craft a concise one liner and a descriptive synopsis. I will also look for minor grammatical errors, spelling errors, formatting mistakes, and help improve word choice. For the standard package, Short Script, I will write a logline and a synopsis for your short script. Your short script should be 50 pages or less to qualify for this category.  For the premium package, Feature Script, I will write a logline and a synopsis for your feature length script. Your script should be over 50 pages to qualify for this category.  All documents will be provided as both a PDF and a Word Document (docx).

I will write two loglines for your script. A one to two sentence logline and something slightly longer and more detailed. Will do one revision as part of the gig.

When speaking to Film Courage, producer Shane Stanley said "In this day and age of instant information and being able to get answers quickly, I strongly suggest putting it (synopses) at the forefront." A logline and synopsis are key documents that not only help you promote your work, but help you develop your story. When you condense it into a concise summary, the plot points, twists and character developments sell it fast. It may possibly reveal underlying issues as well, which helps you improve yourself. If you've yet to write a story, a logline and synopsis both help you set it up in an invaluable way. The alternative is going into the writing process more blind than you'd want, which will make it messier and less fulfilling. Give your story legs before you ask it to run. But if you're done, a logline and synopsis are weapons of promotion that doesn't ask people for much time, yet ends up with them asking for more. In most cases, producers or production companies do not want to read an entire script, but I DO!
